NEW AIRPORT IN THE WHITE COLONIAL TOWN OF SUCRE: With a colonial resplendent architecture, the people of Sucre receive travelers with their traditional elegance and sympathy. Now they count with “Alcantarí” International Airport, at 30 Km. from downtown. There are 4 airlines operating at the new airport, Boliviana de Aviacion (BoA), Amaszonas (Z8), Ecojet and Military Air Transport (TAM) -now a commercial airline-. and they are happy they can now sell all their seats, since the old Airport was limited due to difficult conditions for landing and takeoff.
